Huddinge – a part of Stockholm, the Capital of Scandinavia

There are many reasons why Stockholm is the natural capital of Scandinavia. One is that Stockholm is positioned at the heart of the region, and enjoys the benefits of a world-class transport infrastructure. Another that Stockholm is the largest city in the largest country in Scandinavia. It is also where you find the most multinational companies, the largest stock market and, not least, the most visitors.

Huddinge's most important contribution in building the strengths of Stockholm lies in the area of medicine and biotechnology. Flemingsberg is a community of dynamic creativeness and outstanding international competence. Around 15,000 students, thousands of researchers, doctors, teachers and medical staff as well as small and large entrepreneurs convene daily in this international centre for innovative and exciting collaborations.
