Despite its proximity to the capital, Huddinge can offer an abundance of natural experiences. Our vast natural areas of forests, hills and lakes offer plenty of opportunities for hiking, fishing and swimming. We also have nine large nature reserves, which have a very diverse flora and fauna.

Huddinge Municipality sees its natural areas as valuable assets and is keen to preserve them by, for example, not developing previously untouched countryside.
